Los lugareños de la naturaleza

Algunos miran fijamente, otros corren, otros cantan. Todos te dejarán sin palabras. Lee sus historias. Luego vívelas.

Leistes militaris

The loudest guy in the savanna  - and proud of it!

You’ll find this flashy fellow in the savannas, cattle pastures, and wide-open fields of the Magdalena Medio, always picking the highest spot to make his presence known. And oh, he makes it very known.

Fluvicola pica

The little white storm that refuses to sit still.

You’ll spot this one bouncing around the edges of wetlands, swamps, and puddles like it's got a hundred things to do —and none of them involve staying calm. The Pied Water-Tyrant is not here to relax; it’s here to shake its tail, twitch its wings, and remind every other bird who's boss of the mud.

Cathartes burrovianus

Elegant? Not really. Essential? Absolutely.

The Lesser Yellow-headed Vulture is one of those birds that doesn't try to impress — and still ends up being brilliant at what it does.
